Thank you to all who donated feminine hygiene supplies during the Period Promise campaign in March with the United Way. As a collection and donation site, the Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre was grateful for donations totaling over 600 pads and tampons. We will continue to have menstrual supplies for any client and community member who has the need.
One NOWC client shared: “It is a relief to know I can go somewhere I feel safe and comfortable… to get the support and [hygiene] things I need to feel like myself”
