From Roots Community Food Centre and Thunder Bay + Area Food Strategy:
Eat Think Vote is a campaign where communities across the country hold events with electoral candidates to talk about food systems issues that matter most to them. We eat together, we think about the food issues, then we vote in the federal election!
Join the Thunder Bay Food Strategy at a local Eat Think Vote event on Thursday, April 17th from 5 -7pm at the Roots Community Food Centre (450 Fort William Road).
All declared candidates Thunder Bay-Rainy River and Thunder Bay-Superior North were invited to join this event. These organizers believe that sharing the same space will help generate meaningful discussion, elevate community voices, and ensure that all candidates have the chance to speak directly to the issues that matter – especially Indigenous food sovereignty, local food systems, and food insecurity.
Questions for the candidates can be submitted in advance here
