Moon Time Sisters Ontario is a volunteer-led organization that began in March 2017. They partner with over 30 northern Indigenous communities in Ontario, Quebec, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories to supply people who menstruate with free period products.
From October 1st – 31st, Moon Time Sisters Ontario will be collecting period products for northern communities in Ontario, Quebec, and Nunavut. All requested items are sent free of charge to the community and are paid for by your monetary donations.
The #1 requested item is pads, especially thin ones.
The Women’s Centre is a donation drop off location in Thunder Bay.
You can drop off your donations of period products to our office at 73 N. Cumberland St. during our regular hours of operation: Mon – Thurs, 9:30am – 5pm. Feel free to give us a call first (345-7802) to make sure someone is here–we’re a small staff and sometimes we’re out in the community.
