The State of Women’s Housing Need & Homelessness in Canada – Challenges and Opportunities for Housing Justice Women’s National Housing and Homelessness Network NEW RELEASE: Today, the Women’s National Housing and Homelessness Network release the State of Women’s Housing & Homelessness Need in Canada in partnership with lived experts from across the country. The research was completed by the Canadian Observatory on Homelessness with support from the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and Keepers of the Circle. This literature review explores the unique causes, consequences, and experiences of homelessness and housing precarity for women and gender diverse peoples, and reveals key challenges and opportunities Canada faces on the road to preventing and ending women’s homelessness.
