ALL WOMEN and the service providers that support them are invited to join us for a FREE Legal Education session on June 25, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. This information session will be held at the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre located at 401 Cumberland Street North.
Presenters are:
Det. Sgt. Tracy Lewis of Thunder Bay Police Criminal Investigation Branch

plus… Community tech experts will let you know what to be aware of and how to keep yourself safe.
The June 25 session will address questions such as: What is cyberstalking? How to document online harassment? What can you do to keep yourself safe? When do you need help from the police? Also, learn how to avoid being tracked or monitored through your cell phone, and how to handle digital communication with an abusive and/or controlling ex-partner, as well as what to do when communication is mandated by the courts (i.e. when you must co-parent with this person).
Bus tickets and child care reimbursements are available on request. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
