During November, the NOWC Fundraising Committee will be hosting an ONLINE AUCTION in support of the Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre. The auction will be open for bidding beginning on November 25th and running until December 10th.
WHY SUPPORT THE NOWC
We believe lasting change happens when communities have the resources, support, and collective power to create a more just and equitable society. Funds raised provide unrestricted revenue that helps us plan and sustain programs – such as our Sexual Violence and Community Advocacy programs – and events, including International Women’s Day. Your support also helps us respond to immediate needs by providing items such as hygiene supplies, snack bags, bus tickets, Good Food Box coupons, diapers, formula, and warm winter gear.
INTERESTED IN DONATING AN ITEM FOR AUCTION?
Each item up for bid has been generously donated by our supporters, partners, and community businesses with all proceeds directly benefiting our work. We are asking local businesses and community members to support our Annual General Meeting silent auction in November through a donation of a product, gift certificate, or service. By participating in our auction, you’re not just acquiring great items: you’re also making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who we support.
Your donation makes a direct difference in the lives of women in our community. Donors and their businesses will be publicly acknowledged before, during, and after our AGM. Monetary donations of $20 or more are eligible for a charitable receipt.
For more information or to arrange a donation, please contact Lori at [email protected] or (807) 935-8043. Thank you for considering supporting us. We appreciate your generosity and commitment.
