Across Ontario, community organizations and front-line workers report increasing levels of harassment by the public for the work they do. Some of the harassment is online. People send threatening emails and post hostile comments on social media. Some of the harassment is in person. Protesters show up at the door. Businesses and residents in the neighbourhood keep complaining. Some community organizations have had their offices vandalized.
This webinar aims to help community organizations and front-line workers understand their legal rights and know what they can do when they’re being harassed.

- what employment, civil, and criminal laws say about harassment by the public
- the responsibilities of organizations to keep workers safe from harassment
- details to include when keeping a record of the harassment
- what to do to support future legal actions against the harassers
ASL interpretation will be available. This webinar will be recorded and available online later. Register today!
