Join Sleepy G Events in snapping your fingers and celebrate Pride Month with spoken poetry! Come out on Saturday, June 27th to the Roots Community Food Centre (450 Fort William Rd). Doors open at 1pm. This is a free event, but seating is limited – organizers are asking folks to RSVP and reserve seats.
There will be poetry writing supplies & prompts, discarded books for blackout poetry, and lots of social time to meet other folks who are interested in poetry! This is a free event, but seating is limited.
There will be an open mic session! This is a great opportunity for you to show off your poetry 
This event will feature the following local 2SLGBTQ+ artists who’ll be doing spoken poetry:
