This year we’re celebrating our 50th ANNIVERSARY! That’s FIVE DECADES of undaunted, unapologetic feminist activism and advocacy in our community, region and beyond! Some of you have been part of the Women’s Centre since its inception in 1973 and some of you are just hearing about us for the first time. ALL of you are invited to celebrate with us!
We’re hosting a Friday night dry/sober dance party and silent auction fundraiser. All silent auction items have been generously donated by individuals and businesses here in Thunder Bay. If dancing isn’t your thing, come and hang out anyway! We’ll have a door prize, complimentary non-alcoholic refreshments and appetizers.
Admission is by donation (suggested $5 or PWYC); nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds.
Bus tickets will also be available.
