On Friday, July 4th, First Nations communities will come together with allies to say “no” to the proposed nuclear storage facility in Treaty 3. Grassy Narrows is concerned about this project as it is proposed to be at their headwaters.
Grassy Narrows First Nation, Fort William First Nation, and allies are calling on supporters to gather in Thunder Bay to oppose the nuclear waste storage site proposed near Ignace. Join the rally – NUCLEAR WASTE FREE ANISHINAABE AKI – beginning at 4pm in Waverley Park.
