An annual gathering to share knowledge, build analysis, and unite toward action around gender-based violence issues in our communities
As part of our Analysis to Action on Gender-Based Violence Project, the Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre hosts Think Tank gatherings. These events aim to bring together women’s organizations, advocates and community members to share knowledge, build analysis and unite for action around issues relating to gender-based violence in Thunder Bay and the region.
The Think Tanks are smaller gatherings and are open to members from women’s organizations, local advocates and community members who work directly with or whose work intersects with supporting women who are experiencing violence; this includes both the legal and social service sector. We also welcome students and academics who are researching or studying the areas of gender-based violence.
